The main objective for Election Night was writing about the results of the legislative race. Some classmates were at the Republican headquarters, while Ian, Mark, and I were at the Democrat's headquarters. It was really a team effort.
We did some pre-writing before going to the scene: it was necessary. We would not have the time to write an entire piece of the candidate's background on a deadline. Even with that, we still got a bit of stress after we talked to the candidates to get their official statements of the election's results.
The candidate's I got to interview were Adrian Plank and Jacque Sample. Their comments, as well as the ones gathered by my classmates, are on this story.
